Refund Policy

At Bright Mind Publication, we aim to provide services according to the agreed scope, requirements and project details. This Refund Policy explains the general conditions related to payments, cancellations and refunds.

1. Service Confirmation

A service may be considered confirmed after the required project details have been discussed and the applicable payment or advance payment has been received.

Before making a payment, clients are encouraged to clarify the service scope, deliverables, estimated timeline and applicable charges.

2. Cancellation Before Work Starts

If a client requests cancellation before work has started, the refund request may be reviewed based on the project status, payment terms and any administrative or processing work already completed.

Any applicable refund will be communicated after reviewing the specific circumstances of the request.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once work has started, a refund may not be available for the portion of work already completed or resources already allocated to the project.

If a cancellation request is received after work has started, the project status and completed work will be reviewed before determining whether any refund is applicable.

4. Completed Services

Refunds are generally not applicable for services that have already been completed and delivered according to the agreed scope.

If you believe that a delivered service does not match the agreed requirements, please contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.

5. Revisions & Corrections

Where revisions are included in the agreed service scope, clients should communicate required changes within the applicable revision period.

Reasonable corrections related to the agreed requirements may be considered before requesting a refund, depending on the nature of the service.

6. Change in Requirements

If the client changes the project requirements after work has started, the new requirements may fall outside the original scope.

Additional work may require additional charges. Such changes do not automatically qualify for a refund of the original service payment.

7. Third-Party Decisions

Refunds cannot generally be claimed solely because a third-party organisation does not accept, approve, publish, index, register or process a submission.

This includes decisions made by journals, publishers, indexing services, ISBN authorities, patent offices, government authorities, digital platforms or other independent organisations.

8. Publication & Journal Services

Publication-related services may involve independent journals, publishers or indexing platforms. Acceptance, publication, indexing, editorial decisions and processing timelines are controlled by the respective organisations.

Therefore, payment for assistance with publication preparation or submission does not constitute a guarantee of acceptance or publication.

9. ISBN Services

ISBN-related assistance may involve requirements and processing determined by the applicable ISBN authority.

ISBN assignment is subject to the relevant authority's rules and process. Any delay, rejection or decision by the authority is outside the direct control of Bright Mind Publication.

10. Patent & IP Services

Patent and intellectual property services may involve research, documentation, preparation and filing assistance.

Patent examination, registration, grant, approval, objections and other decisions are determined by the relevant intellectual property authority. Such third-party decisions do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

11. Non-Delivery Due to Client Delay

Clients are responsible for providing the information, documents, approvals and feedback required to complete a project.

Delays caused by missing information, delayed responses or failure to provide required documents may affect the project timeline and will not automatically qualify for a refund.

12. Duplicate Payments

If a duplicate payment is accidentally made for the same service, please contact us with the relevant payment details. After verification, the duplicate amount may be considered for refund.

13. Refund Request Process

Refund requests should be submitted through our official contact channels with the following information:

  • Client name
  • Registered email or contact number
  • Service name
  • Payment details or transaction reference
  • Reason for requesting a refund
  • Relevant supporting information, if applicable

14. Refund Review

Each refund request may be reviewed individually based on the service type, project status, agreed scope, work already completed and applicable payment terms.

If a refund is approved, the applicable refund amount and processing method will be communicated to the client.

15. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed using the applicable payment method or another mutually agreed method, subject to payment provider procedures.

Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or banking institution.

16. Policy Changes

Bright Mind Publication may update this Refund Policy when required. The latest version published on this page will apply to future transactions unless otherwise communicated.
